Basics

Title: H2Mare-Conference
Date: 12.06.2023 (public part), 11:00-18:15
Venue: DECHEMA Frankfurt (Theodor-Heuss-Allee 25, 60486 Frankfurt)

What if green electricity could be used for hydrogen production directly where it is generated?

This is the question the H2Mare flagship project is investigating. The partners from industry and science want to develop an offshore wind energy plant with an integrated electrolyser and storage system that does not require a grid connection and thus makes hydrogen production self-sufficient.

The H2Mare conference takes place annually and provides information on current research approaches, related projects for the transfer of results into practice and the contribution of leading hydrogen projects to the energy transition 2.0. Topics such as stakeholder management, environmental protection and acceptance of pioneering infrastructure projects are also addressed and brought to the attention of the interested specialist public.
